I just noticed that if I have people post bases as seperate topics it will get too messy. ATTACH ALL MAIN ARENA BASES HERE BASE CRITERIA: 1. Fits within the limits of the current zone map design 2. Properly Tiled 3. No Doors 4. Relatively Open Areas/Tunnels in the base - no area smaller than 3-4 tiles wide. 5. Large enough flag room to hold all 25 flags and then some. 6. As ASSS keeps getting closer to completion, I made a manual for both staff and players which can be viewed here. If you think something is missing please reply to this post or let me know otherwise. I could also use a test team to test megajackpot. Any volenteers?

Since I know some people are curious as to what's happening with ASSS, and how long it will take before some bot features are rendered server-side and so on, here's the scoop: When we switched servers, a lot of modules had been untested in a live environment, which caused inevitable problems especially with differences between Windows and Linux. As a result, half of the functionality still remains bot-controlled (credits, buy, playerstats, events...), while the other half is server-controlled. As Mage keeps loving to point out, population lately hasn't been very high (by Deva standards), especially in the last two weeks. I know part of the problem is not having a permanent bot sit in the zone and tell others when people enter the zone, but it's unfortunately been like that since September or October. Rather, I'm looking for ways to both attract new players and get regular players back in the zone again; make the zone appealing. Wow, I haven't been on here in ages! Anyway, ages ago I made a maze generator and used it, with the help of Mage+, to make small (well, alright, not so small) maze map. Recently, I found it! So as many have already noticed, both credits and buyables have been down for some time now. This was caused when Devastation's website was changed servers and the mysql database got upgraded. Thanks to T-Man and Polix, most of this was resolved, now we're just waiting on Snrrrub to hopefully upgrade the zone's mysql version for compatibility. How long will this be? Who knows. In the meantime, I've set up an alternative flat file database scheme to load and save player credits. I've still got to update the buy module accordingly (done!), but it's a start. Please report any bugs or zone crashes.

Many have talked about Baseduel nut no one has done anything about it. I have made some bases but im sure we need at least 16-20 bases, we will need everyone helping, Hakaku , Jds , No remorse any comments Also i think there should be a bit of a competition, I think there should be 3 ranked spots First Mage+ 169 points Second tm_master 76 points Third Hakaku 64 points Winner of each month gets Creds or a special prize? maybe the name on the Deva-Trophy? Hi I am making a racing map, and there will be regions i need help writing the Python code in dcme I need it so it switches settings when you hit somthing and switch back when you are off Racetrack will be sort of Mario kart style when you hit that speed booster you get a big boost should be loads of fun if someone can write me a code. thanks - Caster

So I don't remember what we did last year, but once again this year I'm going to propose we do another winter-xmas-hannukhah-whatever themed map. So what does this mean? Basically we're gonna need bases! So anything you can think of: a snowman, christmas tree, holly, snowflake, santa hat, the grinch, a tree ornament, presents, etc. Also, if you have any other ideas, such as events, graphics, and whatnots that we should have for the holiday season, feel free to place your suggestions here. We need to think of some options to prevent people from speccing/leaving after a big flag game: 1. Offer 30 million credits if jp can get over 10 million in 10 minutes 2. Offer incentives for smaller 15-20 mil games (2x credits or something), that way people won't be tired because one very large game finished 3. Offer incentives for top 3 in points after scorereset (top 3 non-staff members get bonus credits) 4. Cap max jp size to 50mil. Any other ideas? We already have a 2x increase ... but that doesn't seem to work.

I think race3 is waay to long and tricky. I think we need a new map for it and here is my version. I modified the tileset it's not THAT diffrent but it will suit devastation eg. colour switch, round tiles.
