As some of you already knew, I've been having the same problem SeVeR had or has trying to connect to 17th. No clue how or why, but like 2 weeks ago I lagged out and couldn't login again, until now. So, let's play QuickGoal and then SBL and then Speedball and then pub. Or whatever! Sweet.

Subspace holds about 4% of my interest but with that, I would like to divulge every idea ive had in hopes that if anyone is interested that they will put these ideas to good use. I still pop in so its not like im leaving leaving but the addictive hold that once held me for SS action has gone away, but anyway onto the ideas. All names are tentative names. DEAR DIARY The zone was alive for a few hours last night. We played some Rumble, SBLBall (2 times) and Speedball 3 times in different maps with 10+ players. Then we finished by playing some pub where we ended up getting 23 players! Fun, fun. In the makings is a new ball event, similar to SBLBall but probably with more specialized ship settings.

After burying a zone and not even idling in spec anymore, plotting your burying plots, the least you could do is resign and give your powers to someone else.

Although this is Continuum, many people came from Infantry to here at various times and for various reasons. I was always a fan of Infantry, dropping in and out. Myself and Beware were talking about Infantry today actually when Raem dropped in and mentioned about a free server for Twin Peaks he found. Looking at the site, downloading and such like, the overall system seemed to work, even in game. Which made me think. Ok... I want to play continuum again. and have wanted to since i came back from a much needed break just before / around christmas... Made a simple lil' event quick. I'd call it like a mixture of Speedflag and Flagcap. Small circle shaped flag rooms that are connected by tubes. The flag rooms serve as a type of mark to see how much territory your team controls. I haven't decided any rules yet but feel free to check it out. It's simple but as usual the team with best coordination of different ships and teamwork will win the game >

This essay is not about 17th in particular. I'm sure there are other reasons why this, as any other zone, gradually lose their population . But at least one serious is the overzealousness of those who create the zone to make the "perfect zone", as they see it. Many admins fail to realize what makes their zone popular.
