Pentium 4 2.6 GHz 256MB DDR RAM 80GB Hard Drive DVD Burner Stereo Speakers No AGP graphic card though... (I got a good one on my current computer that I would put in it) No screen either, but I'll use the one I have now and put an old crappy screen to my older computer They sell it 600$, with 2 possible mail-in rebates of 100$ and 75$, which brings the total price to 425$... 38.45$ shipping costs 44.69$ taxes (yeh.. The last door before the goal room is open too often and too long. What's happening is that people can easily pick up the ball and make a quick run at the goal. Thus, the only way you can defend your goal is to leave a goal room anchor in there ALL THE TIME. This is dumb when there are only a handfull of people in the arena, because a 4 man team can't afford to use one player as goalie, and it gets real boring besides. Thus, balling becomes to easy, and it gets hard for pub to get started in the early afternoon time period.

So should they? I think so. This would make the game more fair. Instead of a whole team hogging a base for 5 to 6 matches. They'd have to fight for it each match. This means it would be harder to get 5-0. Also means each team has an equal chance of getting the ball once a new game starts. The drawback is that the people not playing soccer will get warped too including ones afk in the safety. But hey No One is truly safe right? so what do u think?

We get the team evener matter settled once and for all. At 17thparallel.com we have a vote running about the team evener: Do you prefer a team evener in pub? The result of this poll will have effect of the team evener in pub. So vote, vote, vote! The vote will run for 2 weeks exactly going in from today. So it will close on 8 december 2004. Heya, About 1 hour ago, Maverick send a message in pub "The next one to goal will gain free bounce!". I goaled, got free bounce. Rix$ta shouted, kill Flash to gain free bounce! This elicited Mavs head an idea... Someone gets free bounce (like me for goaling or something), then, the player who kills the bouncer (teamkilling is illegal and bannable) gets bounce. And again and again. You probably all know what I'm talking about. What do you think? I think it's a nice alternation. Many times when I have ?host -ed, i soon after see " Rumble is being hosted!! Type ?go rumble" To me this seems like staff is lazy. Rumble isn't hosted, it is always there! Hosted events should be ran by ER>'s+. This is just my opinion. Am I wrong? What do you think? Tex -The Empire

When i first started playing subspace i sucked. But over time and with the help of good players i learned and got better. After my break when i came back to SS, i started here in 17th. I sucked, some of you remember. But with the help of good players and patience, i got better. Some would say im good. Alot of people hate javs, but javs are the lifeblood of 17th parallel. Argue that if you want, but so long as league is jav only, Jav's will forever be so. Sometimes spray and pray just doesnt cut it. I say to fix this whole "New Public Map" thingy, this is what (staff) should do... 1. Show a new map in pub for 1 day per month 2. Ask them to vote on it 3. Repeat this for 12 months 4. Map with the most votes (best overall) gets to be new pub map for 1 year 5. Then repeat the process' 1-5 This would solve the problems of "The pub map is to old!". Tell me what you think? Alot of players have suggested that public map should be changed or just get new tiles etc. We will devote some friday`s to try out diferent public maps + add fun settings ala sticky walls and big turrets but no changes in reg ship settings. We hope you will enjoy the breaks from the ordinary map and give each map we try a fair chance and not just look at it and say it sucks,cause as we all know looks can be deceiving. It will be one map each friday it will be up for 4-6 hours maybe more,but not longer than 24 hours as a max. Your free to give us your opinion in the zone or in here,it would be better to do it here on the forum. pernille

I personally believe 17th should stay only 2 frequencies. It has always been the point of the zone to have two teams fighting against eachother. Having multiple frequencies detracts from the main gameplay objectives such as soccer. If i want to play on one of about 50 teams, then i would go somewhere else. The fact is, I don't. Having only 2 teams is one of the main reasons 17th is my favorite zone.
