hopping has become game within a game. You will log on and see 30 people in spec, large jp, and no flag game going on. It is because people dont want to ?flag unless they are on the winning freq. So they sit in spec waiting. When game starts, whatever freq has the flags gets the players. So teams size progress slowly 3vs5 4vs6 5vs7 ... The winning team always has 2 more players than the loosing team. This is because people in spec are typing ?flag in hopes to get on winning team, if not they hit f11 and wait for some poor fool to type ?flag so they can then hop on winning team. Getting killed in center should reset your time in center. Somtimes there are a lot of people in center, which can make getting out of center in a lancaster difficult. Then the system adds insult to injury by specing you. Either that or grant a flagging ship that gets killed in center a transwarp token.

instead of ?flag putting you direclty on a flag freq it should send a request to the flag bot that you are interested in flagging. The flag bot then waits for 30 seconds or so (for other ?flag requests) before putting you in the game. This way bot can balance players. the flag bot then will place you on a flagging freq. The bot will also remember what players it put on what freq. If you leave the flag freq (forced/self induced) and need to renter, the flag bot can then attempt to place you back on your origional freq. Oracle should show bombs on radar being the ultimate sensor and all. Buying combat sensors on top of oracle to see bombs on radar makes the entire center fit into your radar, making it useless.

so today i beat this cool-mint idiot in a fg, and now hes abusing his powers and making excuses to hide his behaviors so far, he has stolen 100k from me in 1 day, with no reason for example: thats the THIRD time this waste of oxygen has stolen 40k from me, and the first time he even bothered to tell me what was going through his fractured mind the idiot needs to keep his personal vendettas out of my bank account

This seems to be the biggest issue at hand in regards to keeping the zone sustainable throughout the day, not being able to continue flagging after a flag win. The largest deterrent to why flag games just simply stop more often or not is simply because people dont want to gather flags again and go to a base. Solution? Put flags in the flag room after a flag game ends if certain conditions are completed. These options could include... -Time of day -Players playing -Previous flag game amount win -Mix of them, etc Also you would need to energy drain + engine failure greens. That way players cannot simply run out to HT.

recently since fields have been nerfed, i have noticed people trans warp thoring. I beleve it to be an abuse where people should get warned by mods to stop. Transwarp thoring: 1. trans warp to ammo depot and buy thors 2. trans warp to base and launch thors from outside base 3. repeat 1 and 2 I beleve this is abuse because there is no defense for it other than mining the trans warp area. antiwarp does not work vs tw. If not abuse i will join the party, maybe make my banner look like a battleship.

In my opinion, ships are to an extent countered by other ships. Let me explain why and what I think they are. Warbird/Javelin Counters: Spider, Leviathan, Lancaster Average: Warbird, Javelin Slightly Weak To: Terrier, Weasel Weak To: Shark The Warbird and Javelin has high movement and gun speed/bomb speed. Against the largest ships stat-wise they have a clear edge, as energy-based ships do not help as much against fast ships, and the Lancaster's weapon speeds are too slow. The Warbird and Javelin are average against itself, with similar stats. The Terrier and Weasel have recharge in their side, but their slower movement cuts them. The Shark does not have as much as …

I suggested a 2v2v2v2v... event awhile back, but the thread didn't get responses. Here's another idea that requires less work and I think many will prefer to our rather uninspired collection of events. Players keep their center ships. One simple arena. No bots needed. Ingredients: ONE event moderator. TWO frequencies. TWO spawn points. ONE oversize duelbox, obstacles if desired. Or use Namp's league map. ONE turf flag in middle of map, dings every 20s (optional). An idea I thought'd be worth mentioning. Have parasite progress in stages, for example parasite->capsule->shell. Parasite evolves into "capsule" at 500 kills and carries a different set of attributes to mix up the challenge (e.g. strip all item slots, alleviate negative modifiers, perhaps remove them altogether). Another 500 kills and the capsule becomes a shell. It'd help players keep count. And I think most would welcome a reduced grind.

Since I am banned till who knows when, I've decided to throw out some ideas for the zone. Some ideas may have come from others that posted in older threads. If your idea is here, credit goes to you. I converted recharge and gun energy into per/second rates. In the game recharge units are energy gain per 10 seconds, and guns is energy per bullet per level. Info below will help in deciding to go for the recharge or epi capacator and what configs will let you perma spam with out spending lots of money. So far, in the half year or so Psythe has been zone mapper, he has uploaded 2 maps, which he just copied bases off old maps for, something that can be done by anyone, and has done nothing else. Can someone please explain explode pixles, shrapdamage, and inactshrapdamage. As i under stand it explode pixles is really blast/splash radius in pixles. then there is formula that says take 100% damage at center of blast (think its 800) and it decreases lineraly to 0 at the end of the exploding pixles. How many exploding pixles does each bomb type have? How much damage does shrap do Level 1,2,3,4 (active and inactive)? Why is shrap dam such a high number and inactive shrap such a low number in armor? does inactive shrap do that much less damage than active? also what are the ship sizes in pixles?
