Repel Mount

spidernl, Can you do away with the Repel Mount item? Is it some vestage from the past? After buying extra addon there is not much you can do with because most mounts include repells and the Repel Mount tag. Moreton and combo include repels but not the Repel Mount item type. But cant buy 2 defense mounts and an evasion mount because they both contain the 'Repel Mount' item type.

1. Starting Gun In the last item set you started with Pulse laser, a lvl 2 gun. Then it was in fact, the highest DPS bouncing gun in the game. Now you start with Pea Shooter, and Pulse Laser or Gamma Ray, while still strong guns, are still outclassed by Positron Gun in DPS. Now Positron Gun is a signature yes, but if you made Warbirds and Javelins start with Gamma Ray at least maybe it'd make it easier on the newbies. Of course you could then say, "But Gamma Ray is a mere 2 kills away in EXP!" Well, thats true, but we have money to consider as well. What if a newbie didn't save all their cash, and did something like buy Inertial Damper? Now they get to wait longer. Oh…

rather than having 2 opposing freqs with forced team balancing i think the 2 generic freqs should stay but allow private flag freqs and freq jumping only if the freq u are jumping to has less than 12 flags. also the winning reward is based on the strength of your oppenents and number of players even if its only 1 vs 1 fg. also individual winnings so u get the proper cred for your participation rather than being on the winning team at the right time. bots obviouly woud be required to do this. Also an auction house bot and drops would be interesting. when yu kill someone you may get an item very rarely but at least say a repel or burst. 1/100 times you may get an upgrade. u…

Before I get too serious about it just for it to be unwanted, I was thinking of redesigning all the ships from scratch using Maya to model and render but I would like some input. Is this something the community would be interested in? If so does anyone have any ideas they would like to see, or a theme of how the ships should look? If I go ahead further I will do all the possible work including testing them in game so all that needs to be done is replacing the png files (or lvz, not sure how the server works).

We want to add content that will bring the pros back to playing more than content that will add a ton of newbs who can't read the first bright green instruction on how to buy stuff..... If we gain too many newbs, we're going to have chat full of newbs, and zone full of newbs and we'll need a lot of mods/jrmods to handle all the newbs.... which is fine, but we want the core players first.... people who played through a reset and got bored.... we want to bring them back... When i am lancing i am an anchor lanc. That means my job is to stay alive, not to rush. My movements are rather simple: If i see 3 or more yellow in front of me i will advance, if less than 3 yellows in front i retreat. And please dont bounce, it is very distracting, i dont know to count you as being infront of me or behind. Certain aspects that made HS fun in the past sort of got jacked because only a few players were good enough to actually pull them off, and it was viewed as unfair because seemingly one person got a huge reward, or affected the outcome of a match in a huge way all by themselves..... Two aspects I actually miss are runwinning, and sneaking past base defenses using a cloaked ship..... Why these two aspects were fun??? Hey everyone. With all the ship modding options available I thought it might make it easier to have a way of simply selecting items to buy and sell rather than having to type everything. I started working on a separate program that lays on top of the subspace window that allows you to select items from a drop down and button to buy or sell it. The items available can be restricted to a specific hull and $ and exp req are displayed as well. The program has other buttons for ?flag, ?attach and several other common commands if you don't feel like typing. There are 4 things I think would be nice: 1. Buff Repels Only in 1 way: speed of the repel. This mainly ties into 2. 2. Lower Cost of Thors With stronger reps comes cheaper thors (right?). So, make them $50 like in a time before. 3. Lower Prices of Items under 3000 exp Newbies need the money more than long time players, right? So, I suggest all and every item under 3000 exp have its buy and sell price reduced by 1/2. It would be like double money for all these items only. 4. Can you remove the shipset graphics restriction and enable rolling animations? I see no harm in this nor any benefit for restricting it. If this zone is to survive and be fun, I think it needs to look better to attract new players. I understand 95% of the players are vets of the zone and hate change, and aren't exactly welcoming to new players ( a few are) But I haven't seen any newcomers that come back again. 3 flag games in a row, I was specced and put on the losing team right before the flags dropped. It's very irritating to be on a team, winning or losing, for over an hour, just to be specced and put on the other team. It's a total waste, especially if you were specced off the winning team right before winning (or in this case losing). I understand you want balance but the current system is very flawed. Please fix it because if this keeps happening I am quiting. Now no one cares if I quit but Im not the only one irritated by this so it would be more than me not playing or at least not flagging anymore.
