I think the current Dueling Point System should be revised. Currently you start with 1000 points and as you beat players you gain/lose them sort of based on how much they had. The flaw with this is that it doesn't really reflect much as you can get a very high rating by beating a bunch of noob players with 1000, and if you get a high amount of points you can lose them very easily by dueling somebody with only a few points (somebody who doesn't duel much) but is a very good dueler. I think a better system would be a point system with simple rules that go as follows: - All players start at 0 points - The only way to gain points is by winning (no spec bs) a duel with…

I was recently degranted a little over 10k by spidernl claiming that he was "fixing a staff mistake". The funds then being transferred to the bot owner of the bank bot, spidernl. This however is an abuse of staff powers. So right now we have a staffer abusing their powers trying to get money back that was taken from a "UB" and not a "ZB". Dr Brain has said over and over again, user bots are to be treated like normal players, should a player to player transaction occur, it is up to the players if they wish to or not, no one is twisting their arm to make the transaction. There are a couple of you who were talking about the zone banner stuff for GetContinuum.com and I hadn't really said anything because we've been working on some potential logos and I wanted to work that into whatever official graphics we have for the zone. Open Base: Walls more far apart, easier to leak, more split paths for ships (for smaller ships especially) Tighter Base: Walls closer together, leaks most likely after an AD, more likely to contain strong bomblines I personally like tighter bases. In tighter bases it ia easier for a lancaster to live , because one person defending flanks has an easier time of not getting leaked passed. There is also less room to move, so a spider firing guns can defend anything easier. Everytime i play the game people keep taking my muney... Yesterday i was playing and someone tell me to give them 10000 so they give me 30000 back. I give them the muney but i lose my muney. Last time i see had 36756 so i give the 10000 he ask for but then when i check account it say i have 26756. I ask them what happened to my muney they say some guy name Corey tooked it. Anyone here find that often times when no FG is going on and pop is at a mid-high range the center is too crowded? The Fix? Introduce new activities to take place in center, like powerballing with goals IN CENTER to bring people to the edges of center rather then balled up by safe. What else? Having my minibase (one that doesn't fail). What else? Maybe make center a more irregular shape, or something more shaped so that the direction you take from safe is more of an area of center secluded from the rest, but not inaccessible. Discuss

Had some ideas for possibly improving the balling aspect of HS. Was wondering what you guys think. 1. Add a few seconds to ball timer 2. Base goal reward on number of players on flag team, and number of flags owned. 3. Increase goal reward amount (I believe its $100 now?) So if you were in a flaggame, where both teams have +3, +5 (whatever amount of players) on each team, then the reward would adjust accordingly so. Just thought it'd be nice to spice up the balling aspect of HS. Kudos to Gangear and Mindless for the ideas. Thoughts?

I think we could at least try this for a probationary period and see how it goes. When a player enters he either goes on 90 or 91 depending on which is smaller. If a player doesnt want to flag he can go to a priv.(Maybe bring back ?createteam) Lengthen the time on spectating a player for lack of flagging for fucks sake. Its way too short! If I get killed twice in center as lanc trying to get to the portal gate I get specced only to ?flag onto the losing freq. This modification wont stop hoppers but it would keep flagging freqs bigger and more even and would also reduce confusion for newblettes who want to flag but don't understand ?flag and when they do figure it out…

Hopefully I didn't miss a thread about ragequits recently... Anyways reward could be higher for losing team if the team ragequits. Also just making the reward higher during imbalance might motivate people. Also, maybe people not on flagging teams should get loss money from flag game. So its 3 ideas. Any good?
