What is the use of religion in society? How is religion a product of natural selection? Many people use the argument that religion is useful for providing absolute morality to people who would otherwise be unable to act for the good of society without it. I would reply that although religion is used in this way, it doesn't need to be used at all. Christians have become dependent on absolute religious morality, and although they may not be able to exist without it, they never needed it in the first place. Watched "Xmen Origins: Wolverine" today. It was pretty epic. But I got the version of it thats not finished. So some of the special effects were replaced my 3d models and wireframe stuff, and you could also see all the ropes on all the actors when they were flying or jumping high or whatever. All in all, it was pretty good, I like how they tied everything together. Hi, I'm currently writing a dissertation on online communities and picked subspace to serve as the subject of a case study. Since I've invested God knows how many hours in this game it seemed like an obvious choice. However, writing a decent 2 page history of Subspace (to be incorporated in a larger paper) with barely any sources is not too easy. At school I installed a copy of Subdir's Continuum installer (http://www.subdir.net/files/Continuum040Setup.exe) on all the school computers in the Personal Finance/Comp Apps/Media/Keyboarding room (around 24 to 26 computers) and ran a copy of BlueT Dragonball Z on one of the unused computers in the back of the room. so my friend's name inferno got reset and his squads did too. by an op apprently. If bluegoku or anyone else could so kindly investigate who did the resets in the logs and confront that person would be greatly apprecaited I hope abuse like this will be tolerated less in the future seeing as people have been making topics about future ideas and things we want to change with this game, but yet there still needs to be issues dealt with that are currently hindering the players aswell

Ok this is a typing game and its based on SCI-FI. How to play: First make yourself noticed that you are playing to. Second chose a name,race,homeplanet,Alliance,Enemies and a start ship for yourself. So I was talking with someone at work today and they brought up a really valid point. Right now there is all the legislation going through concerning gay marriage. Her point was that if you're going to pass legislation support/approving gay marriage, then should polygamy also be legal? I would have so say yes. If the argument is that the government can't tell you whom your spouse is, why should they have the right to tell you how many spouses you can have? What do you think?

Hello everyone I have been working on a subspace clone. It is programmed in Dolphin Smalltalk, using the HGE game engine (i think, I also had some other engines like unstdio i was using) I had most basic functionality in it and am able to very easily customize the game, for instance in the demo I made for the great Dreamery I spawned around 100 enemy ships at random speeds. It's pretty fun. Also I put some kind of crappy radar thingy in there that covers your whole screen in the background, but I don't know if people would want that. One of the issues about current players column in main continuum client is when you enter a 20 40 even 50 player zone they all might be in spec and there is no actual fight in the zone so you have to quit and try another zone and that happens again So is there any way to separate columns for current players column into actual players and speccers this will also help getting people into non 100 player zones like metal gear halo evolved desert storm hyperspace and prevent their vanishing because lately whenever I go to the zones most of the time I find empty center
