Could we have a forum? We are a big zone.. considering we are not on SSC yet... we are biggest zone on SSI. We get atleast 100 new visitors a day...

All in all a very good idea, i know it has been tlked about for about a year or more now about making a 3D SS, but this group is actualy putting their time were their mouth is. I got the file download eventualy using a download program as it would not download normaly, even using the download program it was hard work. but never mind about the past. the game runs smooth on my computer and i was impressed to say the least! well done, and i wish you guys all the best in the development of this game. i took a picture of something i managed... to fly through: Any one else with any comments?

first off, I finally found an object that I can collide with. I is an asteroid which looks like a mine with a missile sticking out of it. However, first off I collided with it while I was a short distance away from it. It seems the graphics are nt the same size as the object. Secondly, I had saw no NRG bar, and after playing with the asteroid a little my ship blew up. I know this is because collisions do damage, but my point is I didn't SEE the damage being done as it was being done.

Judgeing by the readme file, the tab key is supposed to fire a missile. However, when I press the button, I fire a missile, a bullet, and a moving mine. Also, if I press the shift key immeadiately afterwards, I would fire a stationary missile. Is this the "shootpoint problem" you mentioned?

I'd like to see the map editor coded so that a url will let you download the map and not give you an image of the tileset. I've asked around about this and apparently it's because IE reads the first few lines of code from each file and the first thing in a .lvl file is the tileset, for an example : www.gamemapping.com/Files/Maps/Chaos/brick.lvl Anyway this can happen? As of now I have to zip all of my maps so that they can be downloaded which is a bummer.

Center coord for spawning movable?

Does cont support a movable spawn point? For exapmple, if I didn't want players spawning based on where the center tile is located, but some tile in a diff location, like (100,200) or what not. I've noticed this in games where specific teams are spawned in their respective sides, but never for the whole arena populations. - Dr Death -

Wouldn't it be more streamlined to have the control similar to that Decent uses? Thus, have the control buttons turn the ship, two others to apply foward and backwards thrust, and two more to roll the ship. BTW, that reminds me of something like a bug I found. Sometimes when I turn, the ship rolls like it is supposed to. However, other times it will just yaw in the direction I want. I think the problem is that I am not on staff, and you need ailerons to roll or bank your aircraft. Yes, I know this is spacecraft and not aircraft, but not haveing any is not a good thing.

i don't know if anyone has brought this up, so delete the topic if you must. What do you guys think happend with JFK seeing thats its going to be 40 years since it happend soon. Do you think Oswald acted alone? Or was there someone else in the "grassy Knoll". Do you think its possible for one man to shoot three bullets that fast with a sniper rifle in 1963? Any thoughts on any of this is alright...

This is my wishlist for everything I would like to see in future versions of SubSpace / Continuum. Expandable Ammount of Upgrades I would like to see more bombs/bullets, but this has been said numours times. This will allow some zones to have Javs the weakest, and then have the WB allowed to go all the way up to 10 levels...With more levels, there shall also have to be an "effect" list for the explosion type. Such as fountain, small explosion, burst, etc. Upgradable Ships Let the players save their points, and then buy upgrades that stay with their ships. Such as...uhh..well, I have no examples right now but such as maybe diffrent versions of each ship. A slower versi…
