Well apparently, there has been problems with Xbox burning rings (scratches) into discs if you use them frequently, but even though they will fix your console, they wont fix your discs. I'm like wtf, the xbox burned a ring into a rental disc, and microsoft is screwing me over because now im charged the full price for the disc. the problem lies because i cant afford the full cost of it.

Each climbed for a purpose. The first one climbed for Global Warming and the second one climbed for Malaria. I thought it was a pretty good way to gain attention. See: http://video.on.nytimes.com/?fr_story=f2b2...931763e671fbe77 Only shows first guy.

I almost hate to make this post, since I should sort of know better than this and stuff...but right now I'm hardly conscious and can barely type...fed the animals without being aware of very much (scary). What and where are all the available AI bots for Subspace? I'm looking for some.

While I was doing some favors for Solitron regarding his shipset for BlueT Mobile Suit: Gundam, I ran across this strange anomaly in the compression of GIFs. I noticed it when I finished my tasks with his shipset and then compared the filesizes of each file plus the whole batch of images (shipX.gif format) to the decompiled LVZ of his zone that had the shipsets. I found that ship5.gif in my version was twice as big in filesize as the ship5.gif image in the decompiled LVZ. My ship5.gif was 85KB while the decompiled version was 42KB. I've tried every trick I could think of to replicate that kind of compression with Photoshop and "GIF Compressors" (did a Google search on i…

(been talking about doing this for a while finally done it!) I've created a new, newb friendly installer. It creates a name and password for a newb player. Basically they can start playing straight away and don't' have to try to work out how to setup a profile. It only works on clean installs (ie to a new continuum folder) If you install over an existing install it leaves the current settings alone. If anyone cares to test it out. Ensure you have a FULL BACKUP (including passwords) it shouldnt delete anything it shouldnt but it still could if ive made a mistake Link below http://subspace2.net/Continuum040Setup-DocFlabby.exe Full source at http://subspace2.…

At 18:00 (or 6pm for you weird 12-hour system people), I won't have any electricity From 18:00 to 4:00 (10 hours), they'll be working on plugging a new building of university residences... the school, the residences, and everything in these buildings will be shut down during that time sucks

The top right of the screen -- that thing shows energy, freq, etc. Now in Trench Wars and other SVS zones, the LVZ adds more than that. I've seen timers and score keeping HUD additions to that top right part and it looks like it was already made by VIE.. Who is making those? O_o Cause I could certainly use a graphics artist of that quality to help produce something for Jackpot SVS in the form of a webdesign.

Is there an exception list that you can make to allow dynamic IMG tags to be displayed off of some sites (such as stats.trenchwars.org) and not others? or is it ALL or NONE setting?

If you are in need of webhosting related to Continuum, I can offer it for free. Just reply with the name of the subdomain. You can pick a name of a subdomain of ss-network.net or a subdomain of sshq.net. For example, coffee.ss-network.net or whiteknight.sshq.net . If you have a domain of your own you can use that aswell. You'll get full FTP, database and webpanel access (for managing e-mail addresses and more). Bandwith is under a fair-use policy but almost unlimited, you'll get 1 GB of webspace but if you need more it'll be increased Let me know your (sub)domain, name and e-mail address. Reply here or contact me on . Currently hosted websites: http://st…

I'm not a guru of IPS so I figured I'd ask since nothing was in the help files; is there a way to ignore a topic from showing up in "View New Posts"?

As requested by L.C. ShipRestrict 1.0 This plugin allows you to restrict some ships to people who meet specified conditions. Available conditions: -Sysop only (Only checks bot op level for now; >= 4) -Top scorer only -Minimum X kills -Minimum X points You can customize the message sent to the players when they attempt to use an unavailable ship. See shiprestrict.ini for more information about settings. ----- This plugin could easily be expanded to add more conditions like freqs, maximum number of the same ship in the team, etc... I tested it a bit, but there might be some stupid bugs, I've done this yesterday night while being very tired + finishe…

A new forum has been added at cericlabs.com to address several needs. The purpose of the publicly accessible portion of this new forum (which is the only part you non-members will care about) is to provide yet another way for the non-members to ask Hybrid members questions and for other general discussion about the squad. For all general forum needs, including setting up inter-squad practices and league results, SSForum.net is still the place to go. The non-members portion of this new forum is not meant to serve as a discussion board. The non-members portion of this new forum will hopefully help resolve some players' concerns about Hybrid completely dominating the !@#…

For some reason I can't get BlueT Mobile Suit: Gemini to appear in the directory or zone listing of sscentral.sscuservers.net. It shows up perfectly fine in the following directory servers: dir.cz.sshq.net, ssdir.playsubspace.com, warpath.hlrse.net. It fails to show up in the following directory server: sscentral.sscuservers.net. For the last 45 minutes BlueT Mobile Suit: Gemini has had the following settings in its server.ini: [Directory] IP=sscentral.sscuservers.net Still no sign of the zone in sscentral.sscuservers.net's zone listing.

These are the rules. It doesn't say we can't swear, Aceflyer seems to think that pointing an offensive word at somebody is swearing. Please tell him he's a newb. (That's also not a flame, just for clarification) This complete forum isn't hyperspace, can somebody please tell Aceflyer that editing every post with a slight flame is re!@#$%^&*ed, as they then come across completely different and uncomprehending once edited. If he wants to make SSForum great for kiddies (Kids shouldn't be allowed on Internet forums anyway) - then at least tell him to hide the flame, not completely delete it. Also, on another note. Why do Wiki Moderators moderate the General Forum…

No, this entire thing (quoted below) was the flame. The especially relevant sections are underlined for emphasis.
